Your Pet's Story or Bio
Hi. My name is Luna. I came to AWLA by way of a very bad fall from a balcony that shattered my leg. My owner could not take on the cost of my needed leg amputation and medical costs and thankfully gave me to AWLA rather than putting me down. I was lucky again when AWLA, and through the kindness and donations of so many, took care of my needed surgery. I was given to my foster mom while I recovered. I was her first foster and of course she fell completely in love with and adopted me - I'm quite pretty and very inspiring. It's been about eight months since my life changing event and I hope you can see by my picture how healthy, happy and very thankful I am for all the help and kindness given to me by so many.
