Your Pet's Story or Bio
Duke is an 11-yr. old chocolate Cocker Spaniel and beloved family member. Although he suffers from a variety of health challenges, including canine epilepsy, hip dysplasia, and spine issues, he has the spirit of a puppy and nothing gets him down! Duke loves people - especially children - and enjoys standing on his hind legs at the window watching the neighborhood kids play and ride their bikes. He also enjoys: playing ball, chewing bones and squeaky toys, nature sights and sounds, relaxing music, and eating! He is an expert tail (and whole body) wagger and wiggler! In the winter months he likes to grow his hair long and takes on the appearance of a warm, cuddly, irresistible baby bear (or Jim Morrison, depending how you look at it). Duke is a loyal companion, revered teacher, protector, defender, advocate, and truly one of the greatest loves of my life.
