The four top earning photos from the contest will win a professional photography session of their dog by Diane Davis Photography, LLC and a fine art mounted 8x10 print.

In addition, the four winning dogs will have a 16x20 Canvas created from the photo session that will be displayed at Pet Pantry Terrace Heights for a period of 6 months. At the end of the 6 month period the canvas can be purchased by the dog’s owners for a reduced price.

Following the session, the winners have the opportunity to purchase additional products if desired.

The name of the exhibit will be Yakima Harvest Dogs 2024 and sessions will take place during the month of September at various locations around the valley. These will be outdoor evening or weekend sessions near fields, orchards or vineyards and will need to be completed by October 6th, 2024. Any prize winners who cannot commit to this deadline will be forfeit and the next winning dog will move forward.

Rules

All breeds of dogs are welcomed and encouraged to enter.

Submissions begin at 8:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Monday, August 12, 2024 and end at 8:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

By submitting a photo entry, you acknowledge that the photo is your original work.

Photos with watermarks will be ineligible.

The photos are of dogs only. No other animals or people are to be included in the photos.

There is a limit of one dog per photo.

Votes are $1 each (every $1 donation counts as 1 vote and is nonrefundable).

Photos should be of full color and not heavily filtered.

Photos considered as offensive or obscene will be removed from the contest.

Winners of the photo contest will be the top four entries that receive the most votes. Winners will be monitored by GoGo Photo Contest and are final.

Weare a small but dedicated and experienced group of dog enthusiasts, located in south central Washington in the beautiful Yakima Valley.

Our goal is to provide better lives for dogs who have known little to nothing of human compassion.

We specialize in stray and abandoned animals in our local community and do not import or transport from out of state or country. It is our belief that until our rescues and shelters are barren and silent our focus should remain in our own community
