Tell us a little about your teddy!
I received this bear when I was hospitalized for a life saving, major thoracic surgery at the age of 21. I am now 56. When my daughter was stricken with a life threatening auto-immune illness at the age of 13, she was admitted to UNC Children’s after spending 8 days at Moore Regional Hospital. She requested that I bring along “Bear”. My daughter is now turning 32 yrs old and with each hospitalization, she takes “Bear” along for comfort and security. For 35 years, “Bear” has been providing comfort, security and loving care for us.
