Pet's Story
He was adopted from animal aid after we found him on our front porch in a stormy night. We put out some food and water. The next morning he wasn't to be seen until later that night. He was on our front porch again. We took him to animal aid and after nobody claimed him we adopted him. We believe he found us and decided this was going to be his forever home.
Boots is the most affectionate kitty.
Of an evening he needs to be sitting very close to us on the couch. He likes to watch t.v with us. He is very much a "lap cat" and insists on snuggling on my lap every night or on the arm of the couch next to my daughter until it's time to go to bed. Boots will then sleep on my daughters' bed, but when she isn't home he will sleep on my bed. He insists on sleeping close to our stomach.
Sometimes he gets a little mischievous and stands on the little chair in the bathroom and turns on the bathroom light and then runs off. He likes to try and squeeze himself into any size box and go to sleep or slide his way into an empty paper shopping bag and strike at us when we walk past or just go to sleep in the bag.
He likes to play hide and seek in his tunnel. He'll run and nose dive into it and peek his head back up though the top hole or wait for us to walk past the floor opening and come out and catch our legs. He is sooo hilarious.
He will see my car come down the driveway from the front window and will run to the front door and be waiting for me to come inside for a cuddle. We thank him almost everyday for choosing us for his forever home.
