Short story about how the animal has changed the owner's life for the better
After losing our cat Squirt at age 18, we found Knickers (originally Nicky) a Siberian Forest Cat, aged 10 at the time, on the APCSM website and knew immediately he was the one for us. Diagnosed with HCM shortly after adoption, he has filled our lives with chirps, snuggles, joy, and true companionship. We have wondered for 7 years why he was surrendered. I guess that will remain a mystery but we hope his previous owner(s) know that he has had a lasting impact on our lives, and that he found his "furever" home. Isn't he a beauty? All 17 pounds of loving fluff!
