Short story about how the animal has changed the owner's life for the better
I rescued cannoli at 4 months old. I had always wanted a cat and I finally convinced my family to let me get one. I had no preference for age, gender, or sex. They told me that they had a kitten available for adoption that day and I went in without hesitation to see her. As soon as I saw her I knew that I wanted her to be my forever best friend. Although I rescued her, she really rescued me.
