How do I enter my pet's photo?
To submit photos, click on the Participate tab above and follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet. Entries can only be made online and must be received by 5:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, May 20, 2022.
How are votes counted?
Donations made in support of an animal's photo are valued at one vote for every $1.00.
Who gets one of the Pet of the Month calendar pages?
The 13 animals (one cover and 12 months (five dogs, five cats, and two other) with the most votes by 5:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, May 20, 2022 will win the chance to be in the Animal Protective Foundation 2023 calendar. All entries must receive a minimum of 25 votes to be eligible for the cover or a month in the calendar. All other entries will be featured on a collage page in the calendar.
How will winners be notified?
Winners will be contacted directly by the Animal Protective Foundation regarding photos and photo quality.
How do I vote for a pet's picture?
The best and easiest way is to vote online, by clicking on the Participate tab above. The online voting period will end at 5:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, May 20, 2022. You may also submit votes by e-mail or phone. To vote with your credit card by phone, call 518-374-3944 ext. 115 by 2 hours prior to the ending time of the contest.
Does my pet need to have been adopted from Animal Protective Foundation to enter their photo?
No, that is not a requirement.
