We found Emma at the West Los Angeles shelter, and after immediately realizing she was our dog, she bravely faced a long rush-hour drive to her new home in Glendale. She is extremely snuggly, and she expresses her excitement when we return home by parkour-ing off of us (her DNA test did not reveal any kangaroo heritage, but her jumping skills suggest otherwise). The way in which she attempts to launch herself up a tree trunk in order to catch a squirrel far above her shows a level of determination that should inspire us all.
