Shuttermutt Photo, in partnership with A Purposeful Rescue, is excited to announce its pet calendar contest for 2025. Proceeds from the photo contest and sale of the 2025 calendar will assist A Purposeful Rescue with rescuing, fostering, and re-homing dogs in the Los Angeles area, including funding the rescue dogs’ medical care.

We encourage you to submit your favorite photo of your dog (1 dog per photo, per entry) and ask your family and friends to vote for them. Please review the Contest Rules carefully for submission guidelines; those that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win. Fees for photo entries and votes will help A Purposeful Rescue continue their efforts to save amazing dogs (aka “magical unicorns”) from overcrowded Los Angeles shelters.

• The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entrants that get the most votes.
• The top 12 vote getters will have their dog professionally photographed by Shuttermutt Photo for the 2025 calendar.
• The top winner will earn the coveted cover photo for the 2025 calendar, as well as a spot as a featured pet of the month! Second through 12th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month.

Prizes | Rules

• You may also honor your pet or celebrate the month of their gotcha-day or birthday by reserving an empty grid space for their photo in the calendar (before or after the numbered squares).
• It’s easy – just choose a favorite photo, a month, and pay.
• Each month has a limited number of squares in each grid and will be filled on a first come, first served basis; don't delay!
• Each grid space is just $10.00 and will benefit A Purposeful Rescue’s efforts.
