I rescued Kimba shortly after my mom passed, and she has kept a smile on my face and laugh in my throat ever since. She says hi to everyone she meets, preferably with face kisses, and she is the biggest snuggler in, and out of, bed. Kimba is my first ever dog, and living life through a puppy’s eyes, reminds me to slow down, be present, and nibble/smell the roses. She is magic, and I think also, a wink from my mom, to remember to not take life too seriously and to love your people hard.
