Animal Rescue Coalition (ARC) is a High-Volume Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic located in Sarasota, Florida whose mission is to end the killing of adoptable dogs and cats by making spay/neuter accessible to everyone. ARC believes that by reducing the number of unwanted pets in the community, homeless animals will have a better chance to find a forever home. ARC has performed over sixty-thousand surgeries in the last twenty years.
ARC's clinic is open to serve the public and 501(c)(3) rescue groups. Two days each week are set aside to spay/neuter/vaccinate adoptable cats and dogs who are on their way to loving homes. While ARC focuses on Sarasota and the surrounding counties, anyone from anywhere can book a low-cost surgery.
You can see ARC's specially configured transport vehicle heading to and from Desoto and Charlotte counties each month ensuring that pet-owners who can't make it to the clinic can still make the responsible choice to spay/neuter their pet.
Spay and Neuter reduces the number of animals flowing into county shelters, giving rescue groups more time to find homes for the animals who are waiting. Spay and Neuter saves lives by making sure that no animal has to give up its life to make room for another.
