Artist Statement
I found my love for phohtography back in high school, but never was able to pursue it until about 8 years ago. Photography is my favorite
medium because as much as I'd love to be able to paint a pretty picture I don't feel I have the talent for that, but photography allows me to take pretty pictures. Now I find photography and digital art a way to relax and clear my mind and just take a moment to breathe.

Hey y'all, I'm Amy Cassiday. I am a 48 years old and have been married to an extremely understanding man for 21 years. I am mother of three amazing sons and two amazing stepsons. I was diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma in September of 1989, 31 years ago. My surgery to remove the tumor was approximately two weeks after diagnosis. The tumor and surgery left me with Diabetes Insipidus. Until recently I didn't know anyone else with this kind of tumor or Diabetes Insipidus, but thanks to Facebook and the internet I have been able to connect with others who are living with this too.
