Art of Surviving

Welcome to the Art of Surviving 2020 Gallery!

The Art of Surviving, sponsored by the Raymond A. Wood Foundation, is a juried online art competition held in May every year during Brain Tumor Awareness Month and celebrates the art of the brain tumor community — survivors, caregivers and family members.

Many brain tumor survivors use art as a way to cope with the challenges that come with treatment, a means to calm and focus an injured brain or an opportunity to express their experiences.

This exhibition is judged by a jury of professional artists and creative writers. Cash prizes are awarded for best in category by age group.

You Be a Judge

Apply all votes to one entry or store your votes in your vote bank and apply to other entries. Your choice. All money raised will go towards funding this program into the future. The artist with the most number of votes in each age group receives a People’s Choice Award and $100 in cash!
