Describe your art here - type of art, techniques and materials used, what your art represents and what it means to you. This unique process was made with marker, glitter, colored pencil, special glitter pens, and dried flower petals that were first dyed in food coloring. This art means that when you are being yourself, you show beauty. It was a portrait of a woman and the butterflies represent beauty to me.
Please include your age, tumor type and date of diagnosis (patients & survivors only) and let us know how art has impacted your life.Samaya is 9.5 years old and was diagnosed at 8 years old with Craniopharyngioma. She is 1.5 years post op. When she was diagnosed at 8, she was nearly blind and couldn't see color. She was grateful after the surgery she was able to "get her art Spirit back".
