I love art it is something I use to express my feelings and something I do to help me feel good. I get lost in my work and I just want to keep drawing and painting. The ups and downs of life are made easier when I am doing my art. I use paint with brushes and pens. It means a lot to me.

My name is Ale and I have a crainopharyngioma brain tumour. I am fourteen years old and was diagnosed in October 2011 when I was 5 years old. I have a twin brother and a younger sister and I live in the Isle of Man. I am originally from Cartagena Colombia . The tumour has held me back from doing things but I have done many things and achieved a lot and I will not let it stop me from doing the things I dream of. It has taught me to be resilient and to work smart.
