Artist Bio: Tell Us Your Story
Abby was diagnosed with a germinoma at the age of 14. She underwent an open brain biopsy, two rounds of chemotherapy and 23 radiation treatments. Abby’s creativity exploded after her initial diagnosis and she began to paint using acrylics and watercolors as her favorite mediums. Drawing, painting, photography and writing continue to be a source of therapy and comfort to her and she hopes to incorporate her talents into a a career as an art therapist as she begins college in the Fall!
