Artist Participant Resources

To assist you in sharing your artwork and brain tumor story, we have created an Artist Participant Toolkit.  

This toolkit was created to help artists increase outreach to friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances. We hope that this toolkit will make sharing your artwork with friends and family easier, and will help you get out the vote for your artwork.  

Proceeds from votes helps cover the costs of this event. Those artists with the most votes receive People's Choice Awards and cash prizes.

Timeline for Artist Participant Outreach 

April 30: 

• Deadline for art submissions 

• Share gallery & how to vote instructions with your friends, family, and social media network.

May 1: 

• Gallery opens! 

• Spread the word through email & social media. Use the resources provided and check your inbox for fun incentives and rewards.

May 5:

• Post your work on social media, ask friends to share your content & encourage voting

May 15:

• Halfway mark. Keep sharing with friends and family.

May 28:

• Share “2 days left” countdown through email & social. Graphic in file link.

May 29:

• Post “24 hours left” reminder on social and share through email. 

11:59pm, ET, May 30:

• Voting closes!

May 31:

• Attend the Art of Surviving awards ceremony via Zoom (more information to come)

• Send and post thank you notes to your supporters.
