My Story
Ruger's story began with heartbreak—he was found tied to a fence in Newark alongside his brother. Today, that heartbreaking beginning feels like a distant memory because he has become the heart of our family. From the moment we brought him home, he settled in as if he had always belonged. He's incredibly smart, eager to learn, and happiest when he's making people smile. Although he's a big Bullmastiff mix, Ruger is the definition of a gentle giant. He greets everyone with kindness, often easing the fears of people who are nervous around dogs. Ruger is proof that every dog deserves a second chance, because sometimes the ones who have endured the most become the ones who give the greatest love.
