Assorted Poppies Photo Prom King and Queen 2024 Photo Contest

Do you think your Pet has what it takes to be crowned King and Queen of Prom AND help raise money for animals in need?

Assorted Poppies Photo needs your help in crowning a King and Queen for our Second Chance Prom, benefitting Second Chance Pet Adoptions of Raleigh.

100% of the proceeds earned from each entry and subsequent vote to our Prom Court will go directly to Second Chance. Let's blow our goal of $10,000 out of the water and have fun while doing it!

Starting June 17th, you can submit your pets photo to our Prom Court. Share with friends and family and encourage your community to vote for your Pet. The King and Queen who have the most votes at the end of the contest will be declared the official King and Queen of Prom.

In addition to bragging rights, winners will get a bath fit for a King from Woofie's of NW Raleigh and a royal photo session with Assorted Poppies Photo, complete with a crown, sash and a robe!

Photos from their session will be featured at Prom and via social media, but the fun doesn't stop there! More fun perks for the King and Queen will be announced later!

So submit your photo, vote for your favorite and make sure you share so we can hit our goal of $10,000 for Second Chance Pet Adoptions!

Prizes

The Pets that win King and Queen will get a complimentary bath from Woofie's of NW Raleigh so they are so fresh and so clean for their Prom themed photo session with Assorted Poppies Photo. They will be outfitted with a crown, sash and prom themed backdrop. Their photos will be featured on social media and prominently displayed at Prom itself.

The King and Queen will receive all the edited photos taken during their session.

We will also have mini prizes given to the pet that has the highest votes for King and Queen at the end of each week. The prizes below are as follows

Rules

An initial entry fee of $5 is required to submit your pets photos for King or Queen.
Each Vote will cost $1.
Any animal (Dogs, cats, hamsters etc) can be entered! So long as they are able to be photographed with Assorted Poppies Photo.
At the end of the 4 week contest, the pet with the most votes for king and the most votes for queen will be crowned Prom King and Queen.

About Us

Ashley started her photography business in 2017. Focusing primarily at that time on families, she came across a posting on social media for photographers to capture photos at a local animal shelter. She has always been extremely passionate about animal rescue and animal welfare so she responded to the post and the rest is history.

She has been photographing pets now for over 3 years and from her work with animal welfare and rescue, as well as from personal experience, (having owned 3 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats), she knows first hand the impact our animals make on our lives. Her mission for every session is to create a time capsule of memories, love and friendship that you will have for a lifetime and more.

In her spare time, in addition to volunteering with local animal organizations to photograph their adoptable animals, she loves to hang out with her daughter and husband and their two dogs.
