How pet came to live with you?
Lenny was left on a doorstep at 4 weeks old. At the time, we were fostering for Diamonds in the Ruff and agreed to foster him. We were immediately smitten with him and his silliness, intelligence and how incredibly social he was.
When it came time to put him up for adoption we simply couldn’t imagine life without the little piranha! (Oh those puppy teeth!!)
We adopted him and made him part of our family. We fostered others as he grew through the next year which proved to be both rewarding and great for him as well. He has never met a human or dog he didn’t love!
He’s amazing with our 15 year old rescue (she isn’t always easy on him haha). We also adopted another dog about 2 years later who is his very best friend and cuddle buddy. Lenny is just so easy going, hilarious, kind hearted and ALWAYS energetic!
He brings us constant joy, love and laughter. Not a doubt that this little “Goldsboro special mutt” was meant for us!
Lenny is 5 now and still every bit the puppy and owner of our hearts.


Your pet’s favorite toys or things to do?
Lenny is happiest when he’s playing with his $5 squeaky ball. He’s the master of fetch and can catch anything.
You will always see Lenny with a toy!
He also loves to “talk”, cuddle and spend time with his brother and sister.

Special Talents?
Catching a ball! He was playing fetch at 4 weeks and hasn’t stopped yet!
