Meet Leela!
We adopted this sweet girl about a week ago from AWLA after she was brought in as a stray. Leela is a 6-month-old Shih Tzu mix who has already stolen our hearts. Despite having to have one eye removed at the shelter due to an infection, she doesn’t let anything slow her down — she’s full of life, zoomies, and love!

Leela is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She’s already picked up sit, wait, leave it, and down! Potty training is going well, and she’s quickly adjusting to her new home. When she’s not chasing us around or playing with her favorite toys, she’s happiest curled up for cuddles.

She’s truly our perfect, one-eyed little bundle of joy — curious, brave, and endlessly loving. 🐾💛
