Cayde is the best big brother ever.

When we brought him home from AWLA as a tiny kitten this July, he was immediately asked to welcome a new little kitten sister—just one month younger—into his new home, only a day later.

Although she was initially scared of him because of his larger size, Cayde was unbelievably patient. He gave her the space she needed, even though he was eager to play and cuddle.

Thanks to his gentle nature, it didn’t take long before the two became inseparable. Now they do everything together—playing, cuddling, and exploring. His kindness has not only shaped their special bond, but also sets the tone for every guest (human or animal!) who comes into our home.
