Please provide a brief bio of your pet:
Newman was adopted from AWLA in July 2019 after being transferred from Russell County in southern Virginia. He became my best friend right away and quickly took on the role of my COVID buddy when the pandemic hit in early 2020. Newman loves the Shirlington dog park and running free at the beach. The first time I let him off-leash at the beach, he ran so far I couldn’t see him—he blends right in with the sand! But just as quickly as he disappeared, he came racing back with that big, happy grin. He enjoys his daily walks (especially the treats afterward), long car rides, and visiting his cousin fur babies in Ohio. Newman has brought endless joy, laughter, and companionship since the day he came home.
