I adopted Ash from AWL in February last year. One of my cats had passed away not too long before. I wasn't even sure I was ready to adopt again. When I went into where Ash was, I was trying to get the attention of another kitten. But then Ash came up to me meowing his little heart out. I held him. We had a moment, I swear he gave me the slow blink, and the rest is history. He's helped me heal. He is a true blessing.
