When Freddy was a puppy, he was frightened of the world, hiding under tables and standing frozen when called. However, when he met Lucy, a dog previously adopted from the AWL, he instantly gained a spring in his step, followed Lucy everywhere and they were inseparable. Sadly, Lucy died from cancer 18 months later when she was just 5 years old. Freddy became unwell, not eating his food and has needed 2 years of specialist vet care to return to being friendly, fun and fabulous Freddy. We are all grateful for Lucy and miss her enormously.
