AWP Purr-fect 2026 Calendar Contest Fundraiser

Angels With Paws is a cozy, cage-free cat shelter and rescue in Lakewood, Colorado. Since 2003, we’ve been giving cats and kittens a second chance — especially those who are older, special needs, or just need a little extra love. Our small but mighty team of staff and volunteers cares for every cat like family while we work to find them their perfect forever homes. We also support our community through spay/neuter awareness and partnerships that help keep cats safe and cared for.

Prizes

The top 11 photos with the most votes will appear in our 2026 Cat Calendar.
Grand Prize winner will have their choice of month for their photo and receive a $200 gift card to Main Event.
The calendar cover and one month will be judge’s choice.
All winners receive a copy of the 2026 calendar

Reserve a Spot to Honor Your Pet

Honor your pet or celebrate a gotcha-day or birthday by reserving an empty grid space (before or after the numbered squares) for their photo. Choose a favorite photo, a month, and pay. Each month has a limited number of squares in each grid and will be filled on a first come, first served basis; don't delay!

🐾 Cat Calendar Photo Contest Rules

Thank you for participating in our AWP Purr-fect 2026 Calendar Contest! Your entries help support the cats and kittens in our care. Please review the rules below before submitting your photo.

Eligibility

Open to all supporters, volunteers, and adopters of Angels with Paws.
Photos must feature cats only — no people, please!
You must be the owner or guardian of the cat(s) in the photo.

Photo Requirements

Photos must be high-quality, clear, and in horizontal (landscape) format.
Accepted file types: JPG or PNG.
Limit 2 photo entries per person.
By entering, you confirm that the photo is your original work.

Submissions

Submit your photo(s) by 8:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
Include your name, cat’s name, and contact information with each entry.

Voting

Voting will be open through 8:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
Each vote is a $1 donation to support the shelter.
The top 11 photos with the most votes will appear in our 2026 Cat Calendar.
Grand Prize winner will have their choice of month for their photo and receive a gift card to Main Event.
The calendar cover and one month will be judge’s choice.

Winner Selection

Winners will be announced on November 1, 2025
Judges choice will be determined by November 2, 2025
Judges reserve the right to make final placement decisions for photo quality or layout.

Photo Use

By entering, you grant Angels with Paws Cat Shelter permission to use your photo in print, social media, and promotional materials for the shelter.
