Rules

We can only accept online submissions. To submit photos online, click on the participate tab above and follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet. All entries must be in by October 26, 2014, 11:59:00 PM EST.

• Donations are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law.
• The Franklin County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
• The email acknowledgment reply to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
• All photos become the property of the Franklin County Humane Society.

Eligible Photographs:

• Acceptable photo formats are .jpg, .bmp, and .tif
• Photos may contain one or more pets.
• Only photos of dogs and cats are eligible.

Photos must:

• Be in color
• Contain only pets (no people)

Any image or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by the staff of FCHS, will be removed from the contest. Photographs must either feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet’s owner and/or photographer to submit their pet’s image.

Contest is for U.S. entries only.

Each vote requires $1 donation.  There is no limit to the number of votes one may cast, but you must cast a minimum of 5 votes at a time for a minimum donation of $5. You may vote for your own photo and you may spread your votes across multiple dogs.

Prizes will be awarded based on voting totals.

The top 100 entries receiving 25 votes or more will be be included in an ebook created solely for these fundraising sweethearts! Author Inglath Cooper will put the ebook together and it will be made available for sale on amazon.com. All purchases of the ebook will go to the Franklin County Humane Society. Let your wonderful dog or cat help raise funding to help other dogs and cats in need!
