Pet's Story or Bio
Ozzie is a Potcake from the Dominican Republic. He will be 6 years old in September.
He came to Canada at 2 years of age. While he was acclimatizing to Canada in Foster care it was discovered his left eye had a suspicious spot that was rapidly spreading. The decision was made to remove it as it was cancerous.
While he was recovering in Foster care is where I met him, my dog Calvin ( now in heaven) was attending doggy daycare. Calvin became his recovery nurse and would often lay beside his crate while Ozzie was on bed rest. They became best friends, when Ozzie was ready to be adopted it only made sense for him to come home with us.

Ozzie was feral when he came to Canada and didn't trust people and feared men. Within hours of him coming home he chose Darren to be his person. I don't exist when dad is home.

Ozzie loves to sun tan and can often be found paws up on the driveway. Winter isn't his favourite but with his wee parka on he can be convinced to go out to the yard. He is as fast as a racehorse and when he's got the zoomies get out of his way.

Ozzie loves to be petted and usually warms up to people quickly especially if food is involved. He loves to snuggle and wrestle with his newest fur brother Fuji. Ozzie can often be heard singing the song of his people while wrestling with Fuji & is not shy about it.

Ozzie is the most laid back dog, likely because of his Caribbean roots ♥️
Unconditional and endless love from him makes every day brighter.
