Pet's Story or Bio
A typical hound dog, he was just following his nose. Odin was picked up as a stray dog in late 2024 by Northumberland Humane Society and given a name based on the road he was discovered on. We had to rename him because our other hound dog's name ("Harper") sounded similar. So, after he needed an eye removed, we gave him the name of the Norse God who lost his right eye and gained sight.

We have since discovered that his nose leads him many places around our yard. Odin spends hours every day sniffing every scent trail in our yard, his tail wagging in a constant helicopter motion, speeding up when something particularly interesting catches his attention. Although he's a bit shy, he is becoming more and more outgoing as the months pass. We wish him many more happy trails to follow.
