Pet's Story or Bio
Harper the Hero Hound was rescued by Charmaine and Dennis at Barks and Meows Rescue in 2021. After suffering a gunshot wound to his front leg that required splinting and crate rest for several months, they lovingly healed him back to 'almost as good as new' condition, ready to find his forever home.

He landed with us after I saw those big eyes staring at me from his adoption photo. Little did we know that Harper the Hero Hound has the ability to sing, not just to piano but also to the harmonica (aka "Harp-monica"). His favorite songs are "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley and "You Light Up My Life" by Debbie Boone. He's a hound of discriminating taste and also revs it up for gospel music when he hears it.

He's a terrific clown, a wonderful dog, the best friend you could ever ask for. He loves sharing French fries with a friend (aka Dennis) and sleeping on his favorite chair in the living room.
