This year, being the last year for Barks and Meows Rescue, Fezzik is submitting a photo of his beautiful Momma Prada and all his gorgeous brothers to highlight the tireless and thankless work that goes into rescue. Can you imagine the cost of feeding these 8 massive puppies?
Fezzik and his brothers are the product of a unrestricted backyard breeder; one who had been raided many times prior and many times since, but was never completely shut down.
If it weren't for the good people at Bark & Meows, Momma Prada would not have been rescued and our boys would not have been saved.
Sadly, four of our boys have passed away before their 5th birthday. That is the reality of greedy, unlicensed, and unregulated backyard breeding - unchecked health and behaviour issues are allowed to be passed down, generation to generation.
Please don't support this type of industry. Learn to spot the red flags. Better yet, adopt, don't shop!
