Rules

All ages of dog and cat photos accepted
Participants must be Ontario residents. Voters are welcome from outside of Ontario and Canada
Donations made in support of an animal are valued at one vote for every $1.00 donated.
The cost to submit a photo to the contest is $5.00 per entry.
Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from Barks and Meows Rescue. They must be a Rescue dog or cat, having come from a Shelter, Rescue Organization or Owner Surrender
Photos may be of more than one pet, if they are all Rescues
Photos must not have any people or wildlife in them
Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) to be considered for a month spread in the calendar
Photos must be in landscape(horizontal) format to be considered for a month spread in the calendar
Photos must be in full-color, no heavily filtered , edited or altered photos
Photos with professional photographer watermarks will not be eligible to be included in the calendar
Photos deemed offensive, indecent or obscene by Barks and Meows Rescue, will be removed from the contest
Photos must receive at least 10 votes to be included in the 2024 calendar in some form or fashion
Contest begins 12:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 29, 2024.
All online photo entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, October 31, 2024
Winners will be announced on November 1, 2024
All photos submitted become the property of Barks and Meows Rescue
