Shelby cries real tears when we return after being gone for a few hours

Pet's Story or Bio
Shelby came to the shelter with a large group of dogs when they could no longer be cared for by their owner. They were all unsocialized, scared and in poor health. After spending lots of time with these babies and gaining their trust, I had a special bond with Shelby. She was bald from flea related allergies and in pain. After a few weeks in my foster care, she was selected to go to medical rescue. While driving her there, there was a bit of ugly crying at the thought of her being surrendered again and let down by another human. So after some frantic phone calls, it was agreed that she was already where she needed to be.
Today she is a sweet, sassy and confident cuddler who recently had her first haircut,
