What Does Your Tattoo Mean to You?
One of the first few dates my (now) husband and I went on when we met 13 years ago was to the Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin to watch the bats emerge at sunset. Last year, I decided to get a tattoo of a Mexican Free-Tailed Bat in remembrance of that night that we discovered we were in love with one another. I also included in the tattoo a waning crescent moon above the bat’s head, in honor of our daughter’s birth moon.
