What Does Your Tattoo Mean to You?
This piece means a lot to me. It’s more than just a bat—it's a symbol of resilience, duality, and finding beauty in the shadows. I put a lot of thought and care into the details, blending delicate black and grey shading with whip texture to give it life and motion without overwhelming the softness I wanted to preserve in the wings and face.

The flowers woven into the wings represent growth in unlikely places, and the placement was intentional—tucked in a way that it feels like it’s cradled by the body, hidden but strong. There’s vulnerability in it, but also a quiet strength.

I’m proud to say this piece was published in a tattoo magazine, which made the journey of creating it feel even more meaningful.
