Your Pet's Story
I found Sophie at Baypath by accident. My previous pup passed over the rainbow bridge and I wanted another buddy. I came to the shelter looking at another pup but unfortunately she was afraid of men and I had my father-in-law, my husband and 4 boys at home, she was not a good fit. I spent the afternoon walking and loving on the animals at the shelter. I was asked if I was interested in "fostering"? I knew nothing about this process. It was explained and they said we have a pup that's desperate. I said, not the pup in the back, that dog wouldn't even pick up her head to look at my when I went to her. I was told she's on antidepressants and really needs to get out of the shelter. I said ok, pack her up!!! Well, here we are 11 years later!! Happy & healthy!
