Your Pet's Story
Lucy is a six-month-old energetic female cat who was found as a stray back in June. She showed up on my nephew’s doorstep when she was about two months old. Seeing that she needed help, my nephew brought her to Animal Control and called to let me know about her.
At the time, I had just said goodbye to my 19-year-old cat and wasn’t emotionally ready to take in another. Still, I couldn’t stop thinking about Lucy. In August, I reached out to Animal Control to ask about her, and to my surprise, she was still there healthy, happy, and ready for adoption.
I went to meet her in person, and the moment I saw her, I knew she belonged with me. I brought her home that day, and she’s been part of the family ever since.
