Rules & Guidelines

Eligibility

• Open to cats and dogs only (photos may include multiple pets).
• Pets do not need to be adopted from Baypath or live in Massachusetts.
• Entries must be submitted by the pet’s owner.

Photo Requirements

• High-resolution (minimum 1 MB, 300 dpi) JPG or PNG files only.
• Landscape photos are preferred; portrait photos may be cropped into a square if selected.
• No people, collages, borders, text overlays, filters, or visible photographer watermarks.
• The pet should be the main subject, in focus, and safely depicted.
• Photos must be appropriate, non-explicit, and free of prong/shock collars.
• Entries that include people or do not meet eligibility criteria will not be eligible for inclusion in the calendar.

Approval & Quality

• If a winning photo is low-quality, blurry, or unsuitable for printing, Baypath may request a replacement image of the same pet(s).
• If contacted for replacement, entrants must provide an eligible photo within 48 hours of the contest’s close.

Permissions & Rights

• Entrants must own or have permission to use the submitted photo.
• All submitted photos become the property of Baypath Humane Society and may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
