A little about me...
I'm entering Pierre posthumously, but he still deserves to be a star! I fell in love with him the day I met him (the day he was born). I fostered his mom until she had her NINE babies (via c-section) and the family went to another foster/friend who had much more space and much more experience with fostering a mom and babies. I went to see mama after she was home from her surgery, and fell in love with Pierre. All the babies had French names, I had recently lost my basset Linus, and I knew Pierre would be my soul mate dog. He was the most happy, good-natured, loving boy. The best foster brother to every single dog I brought into our home. He passed May 24, 2025, and I know he would want to help raise money for homeless bassets! I'm using his baby picture because why not - he was adorable!
