A little about me...
Skeeter came to BBHR in November of 2023 as his family could no longer care for him. He was about 9 years old and had a grade 4 out of 6 heart murmur as well as severe arthritis. Due to his age, heath issues, and the cost of his medications, he had a little trouble finding a new home. He seemed to develop some separation anxiety as well. After about a year, the foster family and BBHR had a discussion and decided Skeeter would become a permanent foster. The family adopted him and the rescue helps by paying most of his vet bills. Thank you BBHR and all of the supporters!!! Skeeter's heart condition has advanced and he had some dental work done but he doesn't care. He's still young at heart! Skeeter loves squeaky toys, lying in one of his many dog beds, sunbathing in the back yard, being close to his humans, and hanging out with the other dogs as well as the cats. He's always the first to greet the new fosters and helps them acclimate. He enjoys car rides, getting brushed, and treats. Skeeter is the goodest boy and spends most of his time 'laxing. He does find the energy to greet everyone who comes over, sometimes talks with the neighbors dogs, and will, on occasion, sprint across the yard. Skeeter wins over everyone he meets. He's a joy to our hearts and one of the best parts of our days. Please vote for Skeeter! Thanks!
