Blue Earth Nicollet County Humane Society is a small pet shelter located in southern Minnesota. This program is small but mighty. Receiving unwanted cats and dogs they are "recycled" into loving pets. They receive the best health care, love, and attention until they find their forever homes. As a no kill shelter they have a safe environment to live in. Each pet is spayed or neutered before final adoption. They are fully vaccinated and microchipped.
An all-volunteer board directs this 501-c-3 non-profit and fundraises all year to support the program and keep costs down. A small army of volunteers supports the daily care of the animals and staffs additional activities and events. At the close of 2016 we will boast 1000 rescues through our shelter!
