Boundless Literacy provides daily, small-group, evidence-based reading instruction to students with reading deficits in Connecticut's districts of opportunity. Our aim is to serve students for whom this intensive, multisensory instruction is critical, thereby helping these children become proficient readers over time. Boundless Literacy joins the efforts of public schools and families in furthering literacy education.
Why Literacy?
Literacy is a gateway to improved lives.
Children who learn to read in school have vastly improved academic experiences and outcomes. Reading builds knowledge and language skills. It fosters empathy and facilitates a deeper understanding of our world and its complexity.
Literacy empowers kids to navigate the modern world and to contribute meaningfully to our shared communities.
Finally, Literacy is an equity issue. All children deserve the right to learn to read. As Kareem Weaver of the NAACP puts it, "There can be no equity, no social justice, without literacy."
