Welcome to the Basset Rescue of Old Dominion (BROOD) 2022 Calendar Contest.  We are excited to use GOGO Photo Contest for the contest this year. 

The top 12 dogs will each be featured as the main photo for one of the 12 months in the 2022 BROOD calendar.  Runners-up with 1,000+ votes will also have their photos prominently displayed alongside the monthly winners in the wall calendar. 

The top 12 dogs will also be featured on the desk and wall calendar covers.

The top 3 dogs will also receive additional special prizes and the top vote recipient can pick the month their pet is featured.  Check out the Prizes page for more information.

Submit your dog’s photo on this page starting February 23 thru April 15.   Voting by the public begins April 1 and ends June 6 at 10 pm Eastern.

All BROOD bassets and basset mixes are eligible to be entered in the contest.  Non-BROOD dog entries must be all basset.  Your dog does not have to be adopted from BROOD to enter the contest.

Tell your pet’s story when submitting your photo so that supporters can get to know your best friend.  Be sure to encourage your family and friends to vote early and often.

NOTE:   You must create  an account to submit photos for the contest and vote in the contest.  Payment accepted is credit and debit cards.  Checks are not accepted.
