My Story
Scooter came into my life when my previous basset house developed cancer and I could not take care of him properly and safely. Scooter came with his own issues: recovering from eye surgery and he had a strong case of separation anxiety. Within a year I was able to get him off of anxiety medications and by bringing another dog into the home his separation anxiety and destructive behavior evaporated. He is a happy boy who knows he is in his forever home. He is a loyal companion and we love each other.
