My Story
I adopted Bebe from BROOD in April 2020, after losing both of my old dogs to illness in the early weeks of the year. BROOD saved Bebe after she was turned into a shelter by her family at age 10, and Bebe saved me. A DNA test revealed that she is half Basset, a quarter Rat Terrier, and a quarter miscellaneous. She is a feisty and hilarious old lady who recently got yet another unexpected lease on life: in January 2021, she had surgery for a mass on her spleen, which turned out to be benign. Long may she reign!
