The C2C 2026 First Ever Calendar Photo Contest

Welcome to the Cage to Couch first-ever, first annual 2026 Calendar Photo Contest for our first-ever, first annual 2026 Calendar!

Do you think your furry family member is picture perfect? Of course you do and you're not wrong! This is your chance to show off your pooch or kitty while supporting Cage to Couch.

Submit your favorite photo, then rally your family and friends to vote!

Our contest launches Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 8 AM PDT and runs for just a little over 2 weeks until 8:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

There are 13 spots to win in the 2026 Calendar – the cover plus 12 months.

To Enter:

Submit a photo of your dog or cat you adopted from Cage to Couch with a $5 entry donation.
Share your entry link with friends and family so they can vote!

Prizes

1st PLACE – TOP VOTE-GETTER

The photo with the most votes will grace the cover of our 2026 Calendar.

2nd Place – 12 Winners

The next top 12 vote-getters will be the featured dog or cat for one of the 12 months.

3rd Place – 12 Winners

The next photos that rank 13 through 24 will be selected for our greeting cards to be sold in our online Cage to Couch Merchandise Shop.

People's Choice Winner

The photo that receives votes (donations) from the highest number of individual donors (based on unique email addresses) by the end of the contest will win the People's Choice Prize! The People's Choice winner will be featured with special recognition in the calendar's opening pages.
Note: If the People's Choice winner also wins the cover or one of the 12 months, he/she will still be spotlighted in the calendar as The People's Choice winner.

All other entrants will be included on the photo collage page in our calendar.

CLAIM A DAY!

You can have a guaranteed spot on the calendar by reserving a day! Your dog or cat's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then claim your day. Each reserved day requires a $20 donation and once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. First come, first served!

100% of all proceeds from entry and vote donations, day reservations, and calendar sales will benefit the lifechanging and lifesaving work of Cage to Couch!

Cage to Couch is an all-volunteer run 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organization dependent on donations to continue our mission.

Rules

Only dogs and cats adopted from Cage to Couch are eligible to enter this contest.
Photos may contain more than one dog and/or cat as long as both are Cage to Couch adoptees.
Animals only, please! No people in photos.
The photo you submit will be the one used in the calendar so SEND US YOUR BEST SHOT!
Submission of photos and voting begins at 8:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Online voting begins as soon as the photo is registered!
Entries must be submitted by 8:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Entry fee is $5 per entry/photo. You may enter more than one dog/cat, with a $5 entry fee for each.
- In other words, if you’ve adopted more than one dog/cat from Cage to Couch and have all of them in one photo, you can submit that one photo for a chance to win a spot on the calendar, or you can enter each one separately with their own photo.
All non-winning entrants will appear in the calendar on the photo collage page.

VOTING

$1 = 1 Vote
There is NO LIMIT to the number of votes anyone can cast.
You can vote for your own photo – OF COURSE!
You can cast all your votes for one contestant or vote for many different cute faces!
The submission and voting periods begin at 8:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
All entries and votes must be submitted by 8:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
The top 13 vote-getters will be featured on the cover and the 12 months in the calendar, with the next 12 vote-getters featured on our greeting cards.
Winners will be announced on Cage to Couch social media, (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok), on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

IMAGE REQUIREMENTS

PNG and JPG image formats are accepted.
Landscape format is preferred but both landscape and portrait will be accepted.
Photos may not be heavily filtered, edited, or altered. No digital overlays, photo stickers, doodles, AI, or any digital effects.
Winners must own the rights to the photos they provide, (i.e., photos taken by professional photographers who reserve the rights to their images are not eligible.)
All photos submitted become the property of Cage to Couch.
