We are so excited to hold our annual Calendar Photo Contest and Fundraiser again this year. Time to gather your favorite photos or start capturing new ones of your rescue dog now! Get ready to VOTE and WIN! It's easy to participate and help large breed rescue dogs in need!
- Snap a photo of your dog that captures their personality
- Submit it online through the portal
- then VOTE, VOTE, VOTE
- Photos of ANY large breed rescue dog (or small and medium rescue dogs with big personalities) are welcome. They do NOT need to be affiliated with CalPaws k9 Rescue.
- There are several categories for the contest.
- Primary calendar contest – entries compete to be the main photo for each month in the 2024 calendar
- Best-In-Class
- Best Action shot
- Best Hiking/Outdoor Adventure Shot
- Best Senior
- Funniest/Best Comedic Shot
- Best Buddies shot (non-human)
- Most Annoyed
- Best Puppy Shot
- Best Caught In The Act
- Goofiest face
- Best water shot
- Best napping shot
- Best Wardrobe or Costume
- Best Use of a Prop or Food
- Wild Card
- Submission is a $10 tax-deductible donation
- Voting is $1 per vote ($5 minimum) and is also tax-deductible
- Reserve a day in honor of your pup for a $25 donation
- Don't have a rescue dog? You can join in the fun and vote for your favorite photo(s)
- All funds raised go towards veterinary care for large breed rescue dogs in need. When you submit a photo, vote, or buy a calendar, you are helping CalPaws K9 Rescue's foster dogs get the care they need and find a loving forever home!
