How is your Pyr living their best life or making your life even better?
Duncan (previously Walther) had a tough go of things before he arrived at Carolina Pyr Rescue. He was found as a stray with a pronounced issue with one of his hind legs. However, despite the discovery that his leg issue required amputation AND that he’d also suffered a gunshot wound, Duncan has never shown anything less than pure happiness to be around others and just being happy in general.

We first learned of Duncan after seeing a video of his happy face bounding around the run at the rescue, and knew he was special right away. We traveled to the rescue to meet him with our other Pyr, Beau - the rest is history. Duncan brings us pure joy daily with his strong yet sweet demeanor and we feel very fortunate to be able to give him a loving home where he can nap to his hearts content.
