How is your Pyr living their best life or making your life even better?
Candy was taken to the Union County animal shelter after she was found wondering on someone’s property with an injured left back leg. CGPR rescued her and surgery was performed to repair a torn ACL and meniscus. She has since recovered, and we are so blessed to share our life with her.

She has a sweet, gentle soul! When out for walks she will stop in hopes that the person walking by will pet her. She lives for rubs on her head and ears.

She loves all humans, even the little ones! They forget to close the pantry door and ‘sweet’ Candy takes the opportunity to try and eat whatever is within her reach. She also enjoys taking advantage of us forgetting to close the gate at the bottom of the stairs, so she can run upstairs and pester our cat Woodrow. Woodrow moved upstairs to avoid Candy at all costs!
